html Invitations
The web is one of the best inventions in the history of humanity. But most people rarely get to enjoy it's wonders. I want to expand how people think of the web but I'm already on a platform filled with those people. Actually getting to normal users requires me to actively use the bad internet. Maybe I'll find a Cory Doctorow type of solution that works for me.
But until then, I can delight you dear readers in interesting web use. Case in point, an animated html invitation. It's tailored to mobile and has an awesome pop up when you share it as a text message.
It's a greek themed birthday party in a language none of you understand. The point is people don't do this and they can and it's easy and so fun.
We should all be using the web better. Not just for clout, politics, doom, ennui and work. We can do those things to, but there is a lot more out there and I intend to create, share and do it.
